Éducaloi & Centre Paul-André Crépeau for Private and Comparative Law
On the occasion of our fall 2023 publication of the volume Successions of the Private Law Dictionary and Bilingual Lexicons series, the Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law – in partnership with Éducaloi and Me Étienne Cossette-Lefebvre (Canada Graduate Scholar in Honour of Nelson Mandela and Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation grantee) – has created a series of videos with the goal of improving access to basic knowledge about succession (estate) law in Quebec.
In this series of videos, Me Étienne Cossette-Lefebvre responds to the question “Which will to choose?...” – explaining not only the advantages and disadvantages of the various types of wills (notarized, holograph, in the presence of witnesses), but also what to do when there is no will.
