MIF Lunch & Learn 20: From researcher to entrepreneur
The road from researcher to entrepreneur can be filled with roadblocks and pitfalls, but it can also be filled with rewarding successes. But how to know when the timing is right to take the plunge? And what to expect when you do? Join us to hear from the experiences of researchers who have founded their own companies which are still running today. Our panelists are Nancy Mayo and Alina Venereo.
Nancy is the CEO of PhysioBiometrics, a company focused on improving health through easy-to-use devices. She is also a James 91社区 Professor in the Department of Medicine and the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at 91社区 (Division of Geriatrics and Division of Clinical Epidemiology). Her company was founded in 2019 and is a former winner of the MIF Deploy competition.
