Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Center for Private and Comparative Law |聽50th Anniversary Celebration
The Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Center for Private and Comparative Law is pleased to announce its聽50th anniversary celebration, which will be held on聽May 2, 2025, starting at 8:30 a.m. in Room 100 Maxwell Cohen Moot Court!
Founded in 1975 by Professor Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau, the Center's mission is to develop, promote, and renew research and theoretical reflection on the fundamental legal institutions of Quebec private law and comparative law. The Cr茅peau Center's projects, whether legal terminology projects (including the Dictionary of Private Law and Bilingual Lexicons), critical editions of the Civil Code, or civil law workshops, all aim to develop our theoretical understanding of fundamental private law.
Today, thanks to the work of all the passionate researchers who have passed through its halls, the Center's influence extends not only to the Quebec legal landscape, but also beyond.
This event will be followed by the launch of the Private Law Dictionary and Bilingual Glossaries - Succession.
