ADEREQ award goes to Dr. Aliki Thomas Pyliotis, Educational & Counselling Psychology
Dr. Aliki Thomas Pyliotis, a doctoral student in the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology (ECP) and Faculty lecturer in the Department of Physical & Occupational Therapy, has won the "prix de la meilleure th猫se de doctorat en 茅ducation pour l'ann茅e 2011"听 which is awarded by the Association des doyens, doyennes et directeurs, directrices pour l'茅tude et la recherche en 茅ducation du Qu茅bec (ADEREQ). Dr. Alenoush Saroyan, Chair of ECP, was her academic supervisor.
This ADEREQ award is open to all doctoral students from all Faculties of Education across Quebec and is awarded to give value to the research conducted in these faculties as well as to give exposure to exceptional upcoming researchers. The award comes with a $1听000听bursary and her thesis will be printed in the "Revue des sciences de l'茅ducation".
Dean H茅l猫ne Perrault will present the award to Dr. Thomas Pyliotis at the ACFAS conference on May 9, 2012.
