DEADLINES
Registration: August 17, 2009 (23:59 EST via ResearchNet).
Registration is mandatory and late registrations are not accepted by CIHR. The Nominated PI completes and submits the registration form online in ResearchNet; The RI MUHC (CFAC) must be selected as the paid institution and as the institution where research will be conducted. Institutional approval (signature) is not required for registration.

Administrative Review: September 2, 2009 (9:00 am EST)
All applications will undergo one administrative review when the application is submitted on or before 9:00 am on Wednesday, September 2, 2009.
NOTE: This is NOT a scientific review only the following sections are required:
- Application Details
- Summary of Research Proposal
- Operating Budget Module
- Other Application Materials
- Common CV and attachments from all applicants (PI and Co)
During the administrative review period ResearchNet will freeze access to the application (2 to 3 working days). The PI will receive comments regarding the required changes and is expected to update his/her application accordingly by the final deadline for submission.
We would recommend saving a draft of your proposal in your files, so that you can keep working on it, even though you cannot access your application on ResearchNet during the review period.
APPLICATIONS RECEIVED PAST 9:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 2 WILL NOT UNDERGO THIS ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW AND WILL NOT BE SUBMITTED BY THE RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE McGILL UNIVERSITY HEALTH CENTRE.

When you click on the submit button, your grant will be sent to the RI MUHC for approval and submission to CIHR.
Signature pages (hard copies) postmarked September 15, 2009 23:59 EST must be sent to CIHR by the Principal applicant. Documents must be duly signed by the PI and Co-Applicant(s), and the RI MUHC Please allow sufficient time to obtain all the signatures.
**Important reminder from CIHR for all upcoming grant competitions**
鈥淐IHR is enforcing its policy on complete applications. Effective September 1, 2008, applications submitted to CIHR that do not contain all of the necessary information as described within the Funding Opportunity description and corresponding application forms will be withdrawn from the competition process.
