Armand de Mestral honoured by the Canadian Bar Association

Professor Armand de Mestral was awarded the Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Medal for 2006 by the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Division, at a reception held on September 21 at the CBA headquarters in Old Montreal.

The President of the CBA (Quebec), Me Louis Brousseau, spoke warmly of Professor de Mestral's many activities, emphasizing his scholarly contributions in international law. In turn, Armand de Mestral told the audience how 91社区 has been a perfect setting for this kind of work. He made special mention of how honoured he was to receive the medal named for Professor Cr茅peau, "qui m'a donn茅 mes premi猫res le莽ons de droit."

The Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Medal recognizes a lifetime achievement in the fields of international trade and commercial law.
