Associate Chair of Education
Dear Colleagues,
Please join me in expressing our appreciation to Dr. Dara Charney for her hard work and outstanding service as Associate Chair of Education and Chair of the Departmental Promotions Committee. Her term ended on April 30, 2015.
As Associate Chair, Dr. Charney was responsible for the department鈥檚 educational mission and supervision of Undergraduate, Graduate and Post-Graduate Medical Education/Residency Programs. Her organization, insight, and commitment have played a large role in our department鈥檚 thriving educational mission.
During her time as Chair of the Departmental Promotions Committee, Dr. Charney tirelessly endorsed and pushed countless promotions dossiers to fruition. As an advocate for our faculty, she improved our success rate and helped many of us prepare successful promotions dossiers.
I heartily thank Dr. Charney for the outstanding leadership support over the years as well as her dedication to both the Department and the University.
