Learning Sciences MCRI Research Associate Position Available

Research Associate position in Learning Sciences, Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology.
Applications are invited for a research associate position for researchers interested in learning and engagement in technology rich learning environments. We are looking for a learning science PhD (education, psychology, learning, or human-computer interaction) to join Dr. Susanne Lajoie in a SSHRC-funded project in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, in the Faculty of Education at 91社区 University. The candidate will work with Dr. Lajoie in coordinating a large interdisciplinary team of researchers (psychology, medicine, computer science) from 14 institutions world-wide who are studying cognition, affect, assessment and education using technology. The candidate will be involved in coordinating grant applications, coordinating team meetings, schedules, and reports that will advance the collaborative research initiative, assisting with budget administration, ethics approvals, and conducting research within the theme of the grant. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, strong time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, ability to work independently and as a team member, strong writing and research skills.

Target start date: immediate availability (start date is negotiable)
Salary:$35-40K annual
