Otto Maass, Pulp and Paper building renovations
Renovations 听to the Otto Maass building听are almost finished:
The second floor, corner block, laboratory has been entirely
renovated and researchers have begun to move back in. The lab was
completely overhauled, with new plumbing, electrical and
ventilation services, exhaust hoods and lab benches. A new layout

ventilation system is now running. The temporary ventilation ducts
on the building exterior have been removed.
A new heat reclamation system has been installed to transfer the heat from the Burnside computer equipment room to Otto Maass. This elegant system will vent excess heat from Burnside and use it to reduce energy consumption at Otto Maass.
