Karen Martin and Dane Malenfant have been named Rathlyn Fellowship recipients for the 2023-24 year. This fellowship of $12,500 is awarded yearly by the Indigenous Studies Program to support Indigenous graduate students in their pursuit of excellence in research.

The Indigenous Mentorship and Paid Research Experience for Summer Students (IMPRESS) program is seeking project hosts for the 2024 cohort of undergraduate participants.听

The program awards undergraduate students $5,000 for their participation, alongside social events, professional development workshops and cultural activities within a 15-hour weekly commitment.听

La Maison Miyoskamin is hiring a full-time Director position for their upcoming opening in 2023.听

Miyoskamin is a Cree word meaning 鈥渟pring鈥 or 鈥済round-breaking鈥, which reflects the truly meaningful impact. Maison Miyoskamin will take a holistic approach to health and well-being by pairing affordable housing with the Saralikitaaq Centre, childcare services, trauma counseling, legal services, and more. When doors open in summer 2023, the new program will house, support and empower 23 Indigenous women and their children.
