Connecting the Dots: The Art and Science of Data Visualization

Friday, May 9, 2025 13:00to14:00
Online

Explore the power of information visualization in data science! Join us for a session where you will explore how the same dataset can yield different visualizations based on the intended purpose. In this session, Faculty Lecturer Nabil Beitinjaneh will discuss techniques for designing effective visualizations, including choosing the right chart types, emphasizing key insights, and avoiding common pitfalls. The session will include real-world examples that demonstrate how purpose-driven design influences interpretation.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear understanding of how to create visualizations that effectively “connect the dots” in your own work.

Don’t miss this chance to enhance your data visualization skill!
