 nadian Bilingual Symposium on Sexual Violence in Post-Secondary Education 
 Institutions.\n\nThe symposium is built around the issue of sexual violenc
 e suffered by the student population\, in colleges and universities. The o
 bjective is to highlight recent research knowledge in this field to promot
 e coherent preventive practices in Canada.\n\nThe programme integrates sev
 en axes: \n\n\n	Sexual violence conceptualization\n	Legal issues inherent in
  institutional management\n	Implementation of preventative practices\n	Inter
 ventions with people of diverse sexual and gender identities \n	The respons
 es and responsibilities of institutions \n	Arts and popular culture in the 
 (re)production of and resistance to rape culture \n	Challenges facing news 
 media and social media\n\n\nThe symposium aims to reach college and univer
 sity associations\, executives of educational institutions\, students\, co
 mmunity organizations\, government officials\, teachers and researchers wh
 o share an interest in taking collective action again sexual violence. \n
