Homecoming is about community

2024 Faculty Homecoming events focused on sustainable dentistry and community cocktail

Calling all alumni and friends! We are pleased to invite you to join us at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences special Homecoming 2024 events.

Masterclass: Sustainable Dentistry and 91ÉçÇø

Professor Dr. Christophe Bedos will be giving the masterclass Sustainable Dentistry and 91ÉçÇø. Thinking about the number of non-reusables a dentist will use over the course of one cleaning and check-up, it is not hard to imagine how the carbon footprint of a practice begins to add up quickly. Dr. Bedos and his team are embarking on an exciting new project to assess the Faculty's current carbon footprint and how to move the Faculty towards the goal of becoming one of the first fully sustainable dental medicine faculties in the world. The masterclass is available as both an in-person and virtual event.

One Big Community Cocktail

Immediately following Dr. Bedos’ masterclass, the Faculty is holding its One Big Community Cocktail taking place in the Undergraduate Teaching Clinic. This cocktail is a great opportunity to see the spaces where our students get their first clinical experience and, if you are an alumnus, to revisit the places where you greeted your first patients.

To register for the cocktail:

Guided tours of the clinical facilities will be given by Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs Dr. Nathalie Morin. To sign up for the tour:

These events aim to bring the 91ÉçÇø Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences community together, providing an opportunity to reconnect with old classmates and make new friends while also getting updates about what's currently going on at the Faculty. Our community makes us powerful, and being able to come together is a special opportunity. We hope to see you on October 25!
