She has published widely on sociolinguistic and cultural issues in second language learning, language teacher training, and second language pedagogy. She is currently a consultant for the Labrador Inuttitut revitalization project.

, Ph. D., is an affiliated researcher in the Culture and Mental Health Research Unit at the Jewish General Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Concordia University in Montreal. His research involves the relation between individuals and their cultural context, and the implications of this relation for psychopathology. At Concordia, he is a founding member of the Centre for Clinical Research in Health and he directs the Culture, Health, and Personality Lab.

, Ph. D., is a Professor of Psychology at Concordia University in Montreal. His research addresses cognitive processes underlying second language acquisition and fluency, and their implications for language instruction (see his Cognitive bases of second language fluency, Routledge, 2010). His research also addresses language barriers in health care as they affect linguistic minorities. He is currently the Associate Director of the FQRSC-funded (CSLP) and the Director of the Health Care Access for Linguistic Minorities (H-CALM) research team.

His research and teaching focus on cognitive aspects of second language processing, second language phonology, sociolinguistic aspects of second language acquisition, and the teaching of pronunciation. He has expertise in the development and application of computer-assisted language learning technologies and web design.
