Despite progress in gender parity among physicians, gender inequity persists in Emergency Medicine. In their recent publication in CJEM, Dr. Primavesi and his fellow authors call for dismantling systemic barriers through a paradigm shift from addressing individual challenges to tackling the root causes that privilege certain groups.
