Biography: 

Peter Jermyn is a PhD student with an interest in contemporary film, television, and literature. He has a strong background in modernist and postmodern literatures. His current research examines theories of gender, trauma, and post-Fordist affect in relation to the performance of affective labour in the TV series Mad Men.
