Kayla Penteliuk is a Ph.D. candidate and course lecturer in nineteenth- and twentieth-century literature at 91社区 in Montr茅al, Quebec. Her work has appeared in the Literary Review of Canada and Tulsa Studies in Women鈥檚 Literature. She is writing her dissertation on comedic subgenres and deviant female identities (witches, spinsters, Bohemians, and more) in women-authored British middlebrow novels.
