Sunita NIGAM
Biography:
Sunita Nigam is a PhD candidate at 91社区. Her research focuses on popular performance and theory. Her dissertation, 鈥淭he Exhibitionists: Performance, Pleasure, and Display from Mexico '68 to the Burlesque Revival,鈥� examines twentieth- and twenty-first century popular performance and leisure cultures in North America, with a specific focus on New York City, Montreal, and Mexico City. Her work has appeared in Qu茅bec Studies Journal and Theatres of Affect: New Essays on Canadian Theatre (Playwrights Canada Press, 2014).
