Construction start date: November 4, 2024.

Planned construction end date: November 30, 2024

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., on a part-time basis

Scope of work:

The work consists

• Installing new outlets in Lab 202
• Installing new breakers in existing panel in 2-Hall1
• Running conduits and cables between the new outlets and the existing panel
• Performing an electrical shutdown (date to be communicated once determined)

Impact & mitigation:

• Protection of the equipment, where needed, in the work zone
  • To be coordinated with the lab users and building administration
• Works during the day on a part-time basis

Safety considerations:

Some drilling into materials containing silica is required to fix the new installations to the ceiling. Applicable safety protocols will be put in place, including dust-containment measures such as the use of specialized vacuuming equipment.
