Spring shoulder season
We are entering the “spring shoulder season” from early April to May, the time of the year where we switch from heating our buildings to cooling them. During this transition, your workspace or study space may become warm when the outdoor temperature rises or feel cool if temperatures drop in the coming weeks. We also want to inform all building directors that this preparation prioritizes preventative maintenance activities related to upcoming shoulder season, therefore it may lead to longer completion timelines for some of the work you request.
Inquiries
As part of our efforts to streamline the management of requests from the 91 community, we take this opportunity to remind you to submit all service requests to FMAS (or follow-up questions on work orders) through the Facilities Call Centre (FCC) at 514-398-4555 or fcc.fod [at] mcgill.ca, which ensures the request is forwarded to all appropriate teams within FMAS.
Health concerns should continue to be directed to Environmental Health and Safety atehs [at] mcgill.ca.
To optimize the processing of requests, please ask your building occupants to submit their inquiries through you, if that is not already the case in your building(s).
Thank you for your continued support and collaboration. If you have any questions, please contact the FCC at 514-398-4555 orfcc.fod [at] mcgill.ca.
