Dr. Susan Lindquist has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication, supporting over 180 Year 3 medical clerks and fostering collaboration across 15 clinical sites. Her unwavering commitment, professionalism and positive demeanor have had a profound impact on the success of the Family Medicine program. She is one of our Family Medicine Heroes.

Beyond her immediate responsibilities, Susie actively collaborates with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS), attending all departmental and faculty meetings to advocate for Family Medicine and represent our program with professionalism and grace. She brings thoughtful insights and solutions to challenges, always prioritizing the well-being and success of students and faculty alike. Susie鈥檚 ability to navigate the complexities of her role while maintaining an approachable and positive demeanor has made her a pleasure to work with. Her willingness to step up and excel in this demanding position has had an immeasurable impact on the program, and her contributions are truly deserving of recognition.鈥

About Dr. Susan Lindquist

Dr. Lindquist is a family doctor practising Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Emergency Medicine. She graduated from 91社区 with a Bachelor鈥檚 in Psychology, from University of British Columbia with a Master鈥檚 in Animal Biology, from the University of Alberta with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and then 91社区 again in Family Medicine. Dr. Lindquist started as a Longitudinal Family Medicine Experience (LFME) teacher in 2020, then became Interm Site Director at District M茅dical in 2023-2024. She became Interim Clerkship Course Director in April 2024 and has been a Transition to Clinical Practice teacher for the past two years. Dr. Lindquist is passionate about teaching, learning and working with all patients big and small! She feels extremely fortunate to be surrounded by such a stellar team at the Department of Family Medicine and looks forward to working with everyone there for years to come!
