Choose from聽over 400聽programs, across three campuses and 50+ research centres and institutes. Can't decide between two programs?聽Apply to both!聽The application lets you enter up to two program choices, and you will be considered separately for each one.


2. Verify the submission deadlines and establish a working timeline for your application

Before applying,聽there are important deadlines you should know throughout the application process. Application deadlines vary depending on聽your citizenship status (domestic or international) and the program(s) you're applying to.

It is in the interest of all applicants to complete their files as quickly as possible. Most programs have rolling admissions and may reach capacity prior to the deadline for submission of supporting documents. Not all departments offer Summer or Winter admissions. Please consult the program pages for more information.


3. Familiarize yourself with our admission requirements

Minimum admissions requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent as recognized by 91社区)
  • Proficiency in English聽(proof of proficiency may be required)

4. Familiarize yourself with 91社区's graduate tuition and fees

91社区 charges a non-refundable fee of $132.90 (Winter 2025) or $136.89 (Summer and Fall 2025) for graduate applications. This fee allows you to apply for admission to a second program at no extra cost. Please refer to the Application support FAQ for more information.

5. Contact the department

Before you apply, if you have specific questions on your program or its application requirements, you should聽. The Graduate Program Coordinator/Administrator will be your main contact within the unit and will provide you with pertinent information, including about supervisors.


6. Identify potential supervisors

Master's Thesis and PhD applicants should search and view faculty member profiles for the department they're applying to in order to identify potential supervisors with similar research interests.


7. Review available funding opportunities
