Information session: Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) workshop for adult siblings
"This information session will provide an overview of Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) for adult siblings of a person with an intellectual disability or autism.
ACT can help siblings of a person with an intellectual disability or autism better manage difficult feelings and events in their lives by learning to mindfully connect with themselves in a loving and respectful way.
Siblings Canada, Queen’s University and The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), will be offering a 6-week ACT workshop for siblings starting in October 2023. This information session will help you decide whether you would like to join the workshop.
The information session and ACT training workshop are open to siblings from across Canada." (Source:Â )
