The newly created Office of Interprofessional Education (OIPE)聽is dedicated to creating, implementing聽and evaluating the IPE curriculum聽for students in the Faculty of Medicine, as well as, designing supportive faculty development activities.
Students聽in 聽Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology and Dentistry聽engage in collaborative team building opportunities within a variety of learning environments, including聽the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning. Faculty development sessions are presented to help prepare facilitators.
A website has just been launched that faculty, students and clinicians can browse to further explore the possibilities聽of learning with, from and about each other鈥�.
