Academic background: I completed my undergraduate studies at Western University, where I studied Political Science.
Bio: I am a proud Manitoban. Before law school, I worked in Canadian federal politics and with international and domestic human rights organizations. In the faculty, I have worked with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, as an Associate Editor for the 91社区 Journal of Sustainable Development Law, and as a research assistant. This past summer, I did a student clerkship at the Court of King's Bench of Manitoba. Next summer, I will be working as a Summer Associate at White & Case in New York. Academic background: I attended the University of Calgary, where I completed a Bachelor of Social Work. At 91社区, I am completing the Joint BCL/JD and MSW program.聽
Bio: I grew up in Southern Alberta and British Columbia, completing most of my schooling in Calgary, AB. During my undergraduate education, I had the privilege of completing a semester exchange to Ume氓 University in Sweden, a social justice group study program in Mexico, and completing a research project with social work students in Hong Kong and the Philippines. After graduating, I worked as a social worker with children and families, which inspired me to pursue a law degree to enact systemic change. I am the VP Finance at the Family Law Association of 91社区 (FLAM), I completed an independent Legal Clinic Course with the First Nations Financial Management Board, and I am planning to participate in a semester exchange during my time at 91社区 Law. When I am not studying or working, I am usually embroidering and listening to podcasts or exploring new restaurants in Montreal, visiting my family on the beautiful Vancouver Island, or travelling the world.聽

Academic background: I have a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University with a double major in Criminology and Archaeology, I also completed certificates in General Criminology, Forensic Science, and Liberal Arts. Additionally, I completed an honours聽(thesis based) in Criminology.聽
Bio: I did my undergrad at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. After graduating in Spring 2022, I came to 91社区 and started law school in Fall 2022. Criminal law, wrongful convictions, and the forensic sciences have been the focus of my studies, research, and volunteer work for years. Since starting law school I have been involved with Innocence 91社区, this year as a co-director. During my 1L summer, I worked at Innocence Canada and this past summer, I worked at the Department of Justice in criminal law and international assistance in Vancouver.聽
Hobbies: In my free time I love to cook, read fiction, and try out new workout classes!聽

Bio: I am originally from the US, but I spent a great part of my childhood in Luxembourg and the UK before coming to Montr茅al. As a result, I鈥檓 highly interested in all things cross-border. I鈥檓 currently a third-year student at the faculty, where I previously served on Faculty Council and volunteered as a caseworker at 91社区鈥檚 Legal Information Clinic. Currently, I am part of 91社区's Sports and Entertainment Law Association and Women of Color Collective! Outside of school, I love to travel, take long strolls while listening to music, and read historical nonfiction books or watch the movie adaptation.

Academic Background: Prior to 91社区, I completed a DEC in Liberal Arts at John Abbott College. I am currently in 4L in the BCL/JD program. In CEGEP, I served as President of the student union and represented pre-university students on the College's Board of Governors.
Bio: I am born and raised in Montreal. My passion for politics and advocacy fuelled my desire to study law. Throughout my time at the Faculty, have had the opportunity to serve as VP External of the Law Students' Association (LSA), volunteer as a caseworker for the Centre for Research Action on Race Relations, and participate in the Jessup Moot Court Competition. I spent my 1L and 2L summers working in federal politics on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. I hope to pursue a career in public law litigation. In my spare time, I play intramural soccer at 91社区 and like to hang out with friends!

Academic background: Prior to 91社区, I completed a DEC in Law and Civilization with mathematics from Champlain Regional College. During my time in CEGEP, I served as President of the student union and represented students on several key committees, including the multicultural the College's Board of Governors.
Bio: Since CEGEP, my journey at 91社区 Law has provided me with numerous opportunities for growth. From working as a Pro Bono researcher to acting as a Caseworker and Student Advocate for the Legal Information Clinic at 91社区 (LICM), I have developed invaluable skills and experiences. Since the start of law school, I have also been a proud executive team member of the Women of Colour Collective, an experience that has been profoundly enriching and impactful. Currently, as a 3L, I am focusing on my clerkship at the Cour du Qu茅bec (Civil Division) and preparing for the Laskin moot competition. Outside of law, I am an avid movie watcher and food enthusiast, regularly exploring new restaurants and sharing my culinary adventures on my food blog!

Academic background: I have a Bachelor of Commerce from Alberta School of Business which I completed as my undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. My major was in Strategic Management and Organization, and I had a minor in Business Economics.
Bio: I am a current 3L at 91社区 but originally from Edmonton, Alberta. Prior to law, my undergraduate studies were focused on sustainable businesses and non-profit management. Throughout my degree, I got involved in various community-based initiatives pursuing gender equity in different sectors. I am passionate about exploring the intersection of law, business, and social impact. Since I began law school, I have been involved with the Women of Colour Collective, the 91社区 Journal of Sustainable Development Law and worked as a research assistant for the Labour Law and Development Research Lab. After 1L I worked for the Alberta Ministry of Justice in Constitutional and Aboriginal Law, and last summer I was a legal intern for the D.C. based non-profit, Global Labor Justice. Academic Background: Prior to beginning my studies at 91社区's Faculty of Law, I completed a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Honours Health Science at John Abbott College. At CEGEP, I served on the undergraduate student government for the finance department and sang the national anthem for various ceremonies and graduations.
Bio: I grew up in Montreal and, since CEGEP, have been involved in the push for inclusivity in academic spaces. Most notably, I am the co-founder of a tech startup that aims to improve classroom communication for neurodivergent and hard of hearing students. At 91社区, I am involved as VP Finance of the Middle Eastern Law Students鈥� Association, as a volunteer for LEX outreach, and as a member of the Tiny Tax Band. Academic Background: Before studying at 91社区's Faculty of Law, I obtained a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Humanities, International Profile with Enriched Mathematics at Coll猫ge Andr茅-Grasset.
Bio: I am currently in my second year of law school and am interested in private law. My journey at 91社区 Law has been enriched by my commitment to extracurricular activities and community involvement. In my first year, I actively engaged with the Innocence Project, the 91社区 International Law Society and the BLSAM. I also volunteered with organizations such as Amnesty International and the Clinique Juridique de St-Michel (CJSM), where I aimed to make a positive impact.
Currently, I serve as the president of the Women of Colour Collective (WOCC) and volunteer as a student advocate at the 91社区 Legal Information Clinic. Additionally, I am an associate editor for the 91社区 Journal of Dispute Resolution while continuing my community work.

Bio: I'm a proud Franco-Ontarian from the National Capital Region in Ottawa. I had the good fortune to work on Parliament Hill for several years, both before and after my studies. While, completing my M.A., I had the pleasure of working at the Privy Council Office of Canada on issues of international affairs. For a year, I was also a law student at the Universit茅 de Montr茅al's Faculty of Law.
Bio : I鈥檓 a 2L at the Faculty of Law, born and raised in Montreal. I am an avid reader and student of literature, philosophy, and history. In my spare time, I can be found listening to music or long-form podcasts while strolling around the mountain, studying languages for fun (especially ancient ones), or trying to pick up a new skill. In addition to being a student ambassador, since beginning my studies in Law, I've worked on podcast episodes for the 91社区 Law Journal Podcast and the 91社区 Journal of Sustainable Development Law Podcast, become an associate editor鈥攁nd now senior editor鈥攆or the 91社区 Journal of Sustainable Development Law, served as the Associate Law Senator, joined the Legal Information Clinic at 91社区 as a junior caseworker, and taken up kickboxing and fencing.

Academic Background: Before joining 91社区's Faculty of Law, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Medical Biology at the Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Trois-Rivi猫res. During my Bachelor's degree, I had the opportunity to participate in a research project in the biochemistry of medicinal plants. I was also involved in various community initiatives on campus.
Bio: I am Senegalese of Guinean origin and grew up in Gambia. I have been living in Quebec since 2019. After completing my bachelor鈥檚 degree, I took a sabbatical year during which I worked for the federal government.
Since arriving at 91社区 this fall, I have been involved as a Pro Bono student volunteer on the Law and Health Care project. Working on this project is an ideal opportunity to bridge the gap between my previous studies and the new adventure I am starting at the 91社区 Faculty of Law. I was also selected to be part of the 1L team of the 91社区 Law Journal Podcast, and I am part of the Planning and Networking Committee of the 91社区 International Law Society.
I am particularly interested in public international law and policy development. Outside of my studies and academic commitments, I devote my time to reading, listening to podcasts and exploring Quebec's green spaces, while enjoying special moments with my loved ones. Academic Background: Before starting my studies at 91社区 Law, I completed my BA in English Literature and South Asian Studies at 91社区's Faculty of Arts.
Bio: I am originally from the Toronto area, although I have called Montreal my home for the past four years. During my undergraduate degree, I researched many globalized topics, from diasporic religious movements to international labour rights. In my free time, I enjoy reading literature from around the world, practicing languages, or exploring Montreal's countless festivals. While I am still sorting out my precise interests in law, 91社区 keeps me busy with enough co-curricular activities to help me through that process.
