The Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Centre is pleased to welcome Professor Philip Girard for the presentation of his chapter 鈥淪truggling with modernity: Quebec law, 1914-1949."
With his collegues Jim Philipps and R. Blake Brown, Philip Girard positions himself as a connoisseur of the history of law in Canada. Co-author of the first two volumes of A History of Law in Canada, the Professor Emeritus of Osgoode Hall Law School is interested in the impacts of the two World Wars and the resulting economic crisis on Quebec law for his next publication.
