Sharing r eflections from his thesis experiment- the 200-hour non-stop puppet show - Jesse facilitates an opportunity for participants to bring a puppet to li fe while also learning interesting findings from practices of object perfo rmance. Through simple hands-on activities\, participants will begin to ex plore the uncanny art of breathing life into the inanimate world.\n\nJesse Stong is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. An award-wi nning educator\, specializing in teaching performance\, writing\, and pupp etry\, he was recently Lead Puppeteer/Manager of Children’s Programming fo r media-giant WatchMojo.com. In 2018\, he completed the third iteration of his popular performance-art piece LovePuppets (a durational street-puppet show). He continues to be the proud director of Playwrights' Workshop Mon treal's Young Creators Unit\, where he has mentored over 85 emerging theat re artists over the last four years.
