 , rare materials as well as current books and periodicals about the histor
 y of the health sciences and related areas.     \n\nThe library recently r
 eopened after a fire in 2018. As a major resource for historical research 
 in health sciences\, the curators have placed their focus on expanding the
  collection to provide a more inclusive understanding of medical practices
