The RSC also announced 46 new members to the College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists, including three 91ÉçÇø scholars. This year’s inductees represent 91ÉçÇø’s excellence from urban sustainability to cancer prevention, while also exemplifying the interdisciplinary approaches fostered by the RSC.</p> Tue, 10 Sep 2019 19:49:59 +0000 Amanda Testani 1272 at /linguistics /linguistics/article/arts-department-linguistics-breaks-top-20-qs-world-rankings <p>The <a href="http://reporter.mcgill.ca/mcgill-on-the-rise-in-annual-qs-world-university-rankings-by-subject/">91ÉçÇø Reporter</a> recently announced University’s rise in the annual QS Rankings with five subjects making the top 20 worldwide. Among those leading the list is the Faculty of Arts’ <a href="/linguistics/">Department of Linguistics</a>, which made an impressive jump from 38th to 17th position.
