SSHRC Insight Development Grants – February 2025 Competition
The purpose of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Program is to support research in its initial stages, for up to two years, for both emerging and established scholars in the social sciences and humanities.
Researchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming SSHRC Insight Development Grants competition in February 2025 are encouraged to attend this information session, which will include:
- A presentation about the program objectives, application requirements, review process, and application strategies, by Jean-Christophe Cusson and Preeti Purba-Singh (Grants and Agreements Officers - OSR).

- Presentations from Prof. Elena Obukhova (Associate Professor, 91ÉçÇø Desautels Faculty of Management) and Prof. Gal Gvili (Associate Professor, East Asian Studies), SSHRC merit review committee members.

Both presenters will share information about the SSHRC IG evaluation and merit system and strategies for preparing a successful proposal.
Ìý
- A question-and-answer period where participants may raise additional questions about the program or the application and review process.
