N.B.Ìýâ–º The language of instruction is English for the Montreal Campus, and French for Campus Outaouais. Applicants may submit an application in French or English.
Verification of information submitted
91ÉçÇø reserves the right to require official academic records at any time during the admissions process, and rescind any offer of admission made if discrepancies between unofficial and official records(s) are found.Ìý As well, the University may verify any information provided by applicants and has the authority to cancel an application, withdraw an offer, or cancel a registration at any time if false information has been provided.
Disclosure
No information whatsoever on the status of your application will be shared with anyone inquiring on your behalf without the applicant's express written authorization. You may authorize the disclosure of information related to your application to one or more persons via the online application system or later in the process by email to the Undergraduate Medical Admissions Office.
Name discrepancies
Please notify the Undergraduate Medical Admissions Office if there will be any name discrepancies or variations among any of the official documents, especially transcripts or official test results. Failure to do so may result in an incomplete admission file.
Reapplication
Applicants to the Med-P Qualifying YearÌýmay only apply once to the program. Applicants to the M.D.,C.M. or its combined program who were not admitted and who wish to reapply must submit a new application.Ìý Supporting documentation from previous applications are not retained for any future applications.Ìý Every application cycle is treated anew.Ìý Those who submit their application a third time are rarely successful and are discouraged from doing so unless there are truly significant changes that have had a major impact on the quality of their candidacy.
Making changes or cancelling your application
All documents submitted during the application process become the property of 91ÉçÇø. Any change or update to your application information can be modified prior to submitting the application fee. Please note that certain information involved in assessment cannot be updated after the application deadline, in order to ensure equity amongst all candidates. Changes in personal information such as addresses or phone numbers can only be done via the Applicant Portal.
Candidates who wish to cancel their application may do so up until an admission decision is rendered.
Track the status of your application
The status of your application can be tracked by logging into the Applicant Portal, and log in using the email and password used to create your account. It is strongly recommended that applicants check their application status on a regular basis, e.g. once a week, as there may be updates or additional requests required as part of the dossier review. To expedite the processing of your application, include your email address, 91ÉçÇø ID number and name in all communications with our office through the Applicant Portal on the Get Help form.
N.B. â–º The primary means of communication will be electronic mail (e-mail), using the e-mail address provided at time of application.
Especially during peak periods, there may be a delays between our receipt of documents and the entry of these documents in the online application system. The date posted is the date of entry into the system and does not necessarily reflect the date of receipt.
IMPORTANT â–º Decisions rendered by the MDCM Admissions Committee are final and not subject to appeal.
Reconsideration is only granted in exceptional cases (e.g. clerical error)
