1) Will JGH Mini-Med School count towards university credit?
No. The JGH Mini-Med School is designed for a general audience. Its goal is to make you become a more informed patient, a better parent or caregiver, and more knowledgeable about health issues.

2) How do I get to the Jewish General Hospital?
The hospital is located at 3755 C么te-Sainte-Catherine Road, between C么te-des-Neiges and L茅gar茅. You can get here by bus routes 129, 165 or via the C么te-Sainte-Catherine or C么te-des-Neiges metro stations. Visit the Maps and Directions page for more details on public transportation.听

3) What about parking?
Those enrolled in JGH Mini-Med School听can pre-purchase a parking pass for the听entire session for the low price of $10. The parking lot is located at 5790 C么te-des-Neiges.

4) Where can I get more information on other Mini-Med Schools?
The Mini-Med School concept was first introduced in Canada in 2001 by the 91社区 Faculty of Medicine.

5) How did the Mini-Med concept begin?
J. John Cohen, M.D., Ph.D., a 91社区 graduate and the son of Samuel S. Cohen, the first executive director of the Jewish General Hospital, developed the concept of Mini-Med schools. The first Mini-Med School was held at the University of Colorado in 1990, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the relationship between the medical school and the surrounding community. This popular public education program is now offered by more than 80 medical schools, universities, research institutions, and hospitals in the United States, Canada and several other countries.
