Interactive sessions will cover open resources enabling better study design\, initiatives to increase diversity in research data\, open-source hardware for data acquisition and collaborative approaches to catalyze bi g open data analysis.\n\nThis year\, our master of ceremonies will be Matt hew Loukine\, a PhD candidate at The Neuro\, who will bring us new perspec tives and share his first-hand experience of working on a research project while striving to make it as open as possible. His passion for open scien ce will make this event even more enriching and relevant\, where we will h ear about the different elements of creating an open research project\, fr om the ideation and study design stages to analyzing and sharing your data .\n\nKeynote Lecture: An Open Science Approach to Human Brain Cellular and Molecular Mapping in Health and Disease\n\nEd Lein\, Senior Investigator at the Allen Institute for Brain Science\, will kick off the event with th e keynote lecture\, providing an overview of the open education tools deve loped by the Allen Institute\, which are invaluable for enhancing neurosci ence education and strengthening experimental design. \n\nOpen Science Pri ze Ceremony\n\nThe day will conclude with the 2024 Neuro-Irv and Helga Coo per Foundation Open Science Prizes Ceremony. The winners of this premier O S competition will accept their awards and present their work. Following t he ceremony\, symposium attendees are invited to celebrate and network ove r cocktails.\n\n\n \n Program\n Trainee Poster Session\n Location\n Organizing Committee\n \n\n \n Programme\n View Programme Booklet\n\n *All times are EST\n \n \n \n \n \n  \n\n 9:00\n \n \n Welcome & Opening Remarks\n\n Annabel Seyller\, CE O\, Tanenbaum Open Science Institute\, Chief of Staff\, The Neuro\n\n Shari R.
