The first part involves the generation of a comprehensive cellular t axonomy of the mouse amygdala. By employing single-cell RNA sequencing\, h is team has identified distinct neuronal subtypes and their specific trans criptional profiles. This work enables the mapping of cell-type-specific t ranscriptional responses during the consolidation of the fear conditioning process\, providing insights into the molecular underpinnings of fear mem ory formation. In the second part\, Amit Zeisel will introduce methods for constructing brain-wide monosynaptic connectivity maps. Utilizing a barco ded rabies virus\, his lab has developed a novel approach to trace and map the synaptic connections of individual neurons across the brain.\n DTSTART:20241029T200000Z DTEND:20241029T210000Z LOCATION:de Grandpre Communications Centre\, Montreal Neurological Institut e\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 2B4\, 3801 rue University SUMMARY:Killam Seminar Series: Single-Cell Approaches to Studying Connectiv ity and Neuronal States During Fear Learning URL:/neuro/channels/event/killam-seminar-series-single -cell-approaches-studying-connectivity-and-neuronal-states-during-fear-358 313 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
