In this lecture\, I will discuss this and show recent work f rom my lab highlighting the challenges\, our approaches\, and our applicat ions of whole-brain\, ultra-high resolution\, cortical depth resolved fMRI . I will also demonstrate our recent work probing the spatial and temporal characteristics of spontaneous fMRI fluctuations as well as the unique ad vantages of high-speed\, event-related decoding. Lastly\, I will show prel iminary and perhaps hopeful simultaneous EEG/fMRI studies that aim to use fMRI for direct detection of transient neuronal activity.\n\n\nPeter Bande ttini's lecture is made possible by contributions from the Quebec Bio-Imag ing Network (QBIN/RBIQ) and the Polytechnique Montréal\, with help from th e Events team at The Neuro.\n DTSTART:20240926T140000Z DTEND:20240926T150000Z LOCATION:De Grandpre Communications Centre\, Montreal Neurological Institut e\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 2B4\, 3801 rue University SUMMARY:Special Lecture: Improvements in fMRI Precision and Fidelity in Tim e and Space URL:/neuro/channels/event/special-lecture-improvements -fmri-precision-and-fidelity-time-and-space-359577 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
