Optical nanoscopy allows us to charac terize the molecular dynamics and interactions of synaptic proteins at the ir scale: the nanoscale. Developing AI-assisted frameworks for optical nan oscopy allows real-time optimization of multi-modal live-cell imaging as w ell as for quantitative high throughput image analysis. We developed AI ap proaches for: 1) quantitative analysis of neuronal protein organization in optical nanoscopy images and 2) the optimization of image acquisition sch emes\, especially in living neuronal samples. This allows us to characteri ze activity-dependent remodeling of synaptic nanostructures and localized modulation of synaptic activity. The development of data-driven microscopy is transforming our ability to discover and characterize rare phenomena t hat may influence synaptic connections and thus to discover new mechanisms influencing the proper functioning of our brain.\n DTSTART:20241119T210000Z DTEND:20241119T220000Z LOCATION:de Grandpre Communications Centre\, Montreal Neurological Institut e\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 2B4\, 3801 rue University SUMMARY:Killam Seminar Series: Decoding the Diversity of Neuronal Nanostruc tures With AI-Assisted Nanoscopy URL:/neuro/channels/event/killam-seminar-series-decodi ng-diversity-neuronal-nanostructures-ai-assisted-nanoscopy-359677 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
