  current variability in epilepsy surgical evaluation and the potential imp
 act on patient outcomes. She will discuss how incorporating quantitative a
 nalyses of the complex multimodal datasets collected in epilepsy presurgic
 al evaluation can inform decision-making processes\, standardize our appro
 ach to care\, and ultimately improve outcomes.\n\nKate Adamiak Davis\n\nAs
 sociate Professor\, University of Pennsylvania\n\n\n\nDr. Kate Davis is an
  Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania. She i
 s the Epilepsy Division Chief and Associate Director of the Center for Neu
 roengineering and Therapeutics. The Davis Lab focuses on the evaluation an
 d clinical translation of novel methods for localizing and characterizing 
 seizure foci. Her work utilizes both the advancing fields of multimodality
  neuroimaging in addition to electrophysiology with an ultimate goal of im
 proving the treatment of epilepsy patients.\n\n\nThese seminar series are
