Ìý

Members CommitmentÌýÌýÌý

  • Commit to a 2-year term, with the possibility of renewalÌýÌý

  • Attend up to five GRC meetings a yearÌý

  • Actively participate in discussions on existing and future open science initiatives led by TOSIÌý

  • Act as a liaison between TOSI and The Neuro’s research communityÌý

  • Advise on areas where TOSI's funds and energy would have the greatest impactÌý

  • Evaluate Open Science grants and prizes applications as needed

GRC compositionÌý

The GRC shall be composed of ten (10) members:Ìý

  • Seven Principal Investigators (PIs) based at The Neuro, preferentially at different career stagesÌýÌý

  • One trainee representative, who is also the Chair of the Trainee CouncilÌýÌý

  • One postdoc based at The NeuroÌý

  • One Research Associate or Research Assistant based at The NeuroÌýÌý

Equal gender representation should be achieved whenever possible. Diversity across different research groups is also encouraged.ÌýÌý

  • Call for applications: September 5thÌýÌý
  • Application deadline: September 23rd at 11:59 pmÌý
  • Announcement of the decision: End of September.ÌýCandidates will be notified of the decision by e-mail.ÌýÌý
  • GRC meetings: There will be five GRC meetings during the 2024-2025 cycle. GRC members are encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible.ÌýÌý

Selection ProcessÌý

  • The TOSI team and the Chair of the GRC will choose from among the interested individuals.Ìý

  • Candidates will be assessed based on career stage and area of expertise, given the current composition of the GRC.ÌýÌý

  • Equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) will also play a role in the selection process.Ìý
