It is o ften a crucial part of a teaching portfolio and job application for an aca demic position. It is an essential first step in building a reflective and intentional approach to teaching and a tool to monitor your growth as an educator.  \n\nBefore the workshop\, the organizers will send you resource s and relevant examples of teaching philosophy statements\, so you can beg in to reflect on what defines your teaching approach.   \n\nDuring the wor kshop\, we will work on refining and creating your teaching philosophy sta tement (or part of it). The workshop facilitators will provide feedback on your statement in the weeks following the workshop.\n\nRSVP here\n\nNote: this event is for Chemistry graduate students.
