Research Summary:
Prof. Sherwin's research is in the area of human psychoendocrinology and focuses on the mechanisms by which hormones influence memory and mood in humans.听 Studies in progress are concerned with investigating the effects of estrogen on depression and on memory in a variety of normal and clinical populations (e.g., women with major depressive disorders, those with Alzheimer's Disease and healthy elderly men and women).
