Abstract:We use population genetics to understand the genetic architecture of humans, such genetic makeup could lead to susceptibility to diseases and complex traits. The omics’ cascade, encompassing information from RNA, proteins and metabolites, is also directly responsible for the development of such susceptibilities. In this seminar, we will explore studies at the intersect of population genetics and multi-omics, and discuss how to leverage these tools into dissecting disease risk factors, and potential drug target discovery.
