
24hrs of Science - Part 1: Exploring Montreal's marine fossils
This year, for , we are presenting a two-part activity on the marine fossils of Montreal. In the first part, meet Jeanne and Chantal online to discover and learn about Montreal's fossils and:
- Montreal as a tropical sea with an introduction of common animals that fossilized
- Tectonic plates
- The classification of rocks, minerals and fossils
- How to search for fossils and collect data
- This 30-minute online activity is the first part of the fossil exploration activity near Percival-Molson Stadium on May 7, 2022. You do not need to attend the online event to attend the in-person event.
