DESCRIPTION:Join guides-in-training\, Amélie Chalifoux and Jacky Farrell (M
 cGill Science Outreach)\, for a Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) walk in the 
 Gault Nature Reserve. Forest Bathing helps us slow down\, open our senses 
 and follow our curiosities. What a great way to take a nourishing break\, 
 recharge and celebrate winter.\n	\n	For adults. Space is limited and registr
 ation is required by February 2.\n\nTo provide you with the best experienc
 e\, we limit each group to 10 people maximum. Registrations will be treate
 d on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n	\n	Please note: registration does 
 not guarantee a spot. Your participation/waitlist status will be confirmed
  by email 7-10 days before the session. \n	\n	Details:\n	\n	· Cost: the standa
 rd entry fee to the Reserve will apply: $9.55/non-member. The walk itself 
 ($25/person) is offered free of charge by Amélie Chalifoux and Jacky Farre
 ll (Science Outreach at 91ÉçÇø).\n	\n	· Meet at the Welcome Center at 9:50 a
 m to check in. We’ll be leaving at 10:00.\n	\n	· Bring a water bottle\, walk
 ing poles if you need them and a small waterproof mat or folding stool if 
 you have one so that you can sit at different moments. We will also have s
 mall mats to share with you if needed.\n	\n	· Dress warmly for the weather a
 nd in layers\, as we'll be moving slowly: we strongly advise snow pants\, 
 a wool sweater layered over a warm shirt\, wool tuque\, wool socks\, warm 
 mittens\, warm boots for walking on snow and ice – slightly uphill and dow
 nhill.\n	\n	**Crampons are strongly advised and can be rented at the Welcome
  Center. Check the trail conditions on the Reserve's website before arrivi
 ng and plan accordingly.**\n	\n	· Winter tip: when you arrive at the Reserve
 \, change your socks so that the ones you're wearing to start the walk are
  warm and dry.\n	\n	This walk will be postponed to February 10 in the event 
 of heavy rain\, freezing rain\, extreme cold or snow.\n	\n	Please note: due 
 to limited space\, registration does not guarantee a spot. Your participat
 ion/wait list status will be confirmed by email 7-10 days before the sessi
 on. \n
