2017 Trottier Public Science Symposium: MIND MATTERS - The Body-Mind Connection

MIND MATTERS: THE BODY-MIND CONNECTION is the theme of the the 2017 Trottier Public Science Symposium. The symposium will focus on the roles of both the body and mind when it comes to health.
This year's speakers are Dr. Amir Raz, Professor of Psychiatry, Neurology & Neurosurgery and Psychology at 91ÉçÇø; Dr. Marla Shapiro, medical correspondent for CTV News; and Dr. Patch Adams, founder of The Gesundheit! Institute and best known for Robin Williams' portrayal of him in the 1998 film, Patch Adams. The evening will be moderated by Dr. Joe Schwarcz, Director of 91ÉçÇø's Office for Science and Society. Books written by all presenters will be sold at the Symposium.
All symposium events are open to the public and free of charge. There are no tickets and no reservations are required. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. So please arrive early!
