Assistant Professor Luca Pesando was awarded the Best PhD Dissertation Prize in Demography by the Italian Statistical Society.聽This prize was instituted in the memory of聽, an Italian Sociologist and Demographer working in France, who lost her life in the 2015 terrorist attack in Paris.
