The Quebec Government has not yet announced the rates for the academic year 2025-26, but students can anticipate an increase of up to 3%. The Quebec basic tuition fee in 2025-2026 is expected to be $101.88 per credit.

Admitted means âadmitted and enrolledâ. Students who defer admission to another academic year will pay fees according to the year to which they deferred.

The Quebec Government has not yet announced the rates for the academic year 2025-26. The tuition fee is a combination of the Quebec rate and the out of province supplement is expected to be $424.36 per credit ($101.88 + $322.48). First cycle refers to undergraduate students and second cycle refers to students at the masterâs level. This includes certificates and diplomas, as well as special and visiting students.
Undergraduate and non-thesis graduate students admitted to a degree/certificate/diploma program prior to Fall 2024
The Quebec Government has not yet announced the rates for the academic year 2025-26. The tuition fee is a combination of the Quebec rate and the out of province supplement is expected to be $317.98 per credit ($101.88 + $216.10). Students who change their degree or have a break of enrolment of 4 or more terms including the summer term (see Break in enrolment for definition.) will be subject to the rate charged to newly admitted students for 2024-25. Students will maintain the grandfathered rate of tuition as long as they complete their studies within 5 years of Fall 2024.
Masters Thesis, PhD, and Post-Graduate Artist Diploma
The Quebec Government has not yet announced the rates for the academic year 2025-26. The tuition fee is a combination of the Quebec rate and the out of province supplement is expected to be $317.98 per credit ($101.88 + $216.10) for the Post-Graduate Artist Diploma, and $4,769.70 per term for Masters Thesis. PhD students can expect their tuition to be $1,528.20 per term.
*Students who can prove Canadian fee residency (Canadian citizenship or permanent residents status) and who are citizens (of France or Belgium (francophones), will pay tuition at the rate of students admitted prior to Fall 2024 indexed according to the MinistĂšre de lâEnseignement supĂ©rieur (MES).

Students in Thesis programs â Mastersâ and PhD
Students in Thesis programs are charged on a flat rate basis equivalent to 15 credits per term (when status is full-time). The Quebec basic tuition fee in 2025-2026 is expected to be $101.88 per credit ($1,528.16 per term, which represents a 3% increase relative to 2024-2025). For international students, the fee charged is a combination of the Quebec rate, the international supplement, and 10% international supplement. In Fall 2025, the supplements for international students in second cycle research programs (Master's Thesis) are expected to be $595.78 per credit ($8,936.70 per term), and $524.35 per credit ($7,865.25 per term) for international students in third cycle programs (PhD).
