Program Requirements

The Master of Science, Applied, in Occupational Therapy is a 60-credit degree program to be completed in 1.5 graduate years over five semesters and includes a clinical practicum of 1,000 hours leading to professional licensure to practise. Students admitted to the M.Sc.A. who have undergraduate degrees other than the B.Sc.(Rehabilitation Science); Major in Occupational Therapy from 91ÉçÇø will be required to complete a Qualifying year of study, prior to beginning the master's program.

Teams will apply principles of assistive technology (AT) design to create solutions, iterate through multiple prototypes, and learn about the challenges and realities of successfully integrating AT into the lives of individuals with disabilities.
