Droit priv茅 3 : Relationship between tort, contract, and restitution in theory and practice (including consideration of negligent misrepresentation, economic loss, exclusion clauses, and means of overcoming problems of privity); relationship between Common law and no-fault regimes; special problems in civil liability, such as non-feasance and the liability of public authorities. The study of unjust enrichment as a basis for remedies at common law, in equity and under statute and of its role as an integral part of the common law alongside contract and tort. This course provides an opportunity for immersion in the culture, epistemology and practices of the Common Law Tradition.
