CCFA 536 Behavioural Finance and Wealth Planning (3 credits)

Overview

CCFA : The standard economic paradigm - rational agents in an efficient market - does not adequately describe behaviour in financial markets. Students will survey emotional and cognitive biases, as well as the use of psychological criteria to guide alternative theories of financial markets. Introduces students to the management and planning of individual and family portfolios as well as tax considerations and tax efficiency strategies in portfolio management.
