Biography:
Originally from Halifax, Amanda completed her undergraduate degree in Anatomy & Cell Biology at 91社区 before returning to the Maritimes for medical school and residency at Dalhousie. During her plastic surgery training, she earned a Master of Science degree as part of the Clinician Investigator Program. Her research focused on the role of angiotensin II on cutaneous wound healing and fibrosis pathways. Dr. Murphy subsequently completed a fellowship in Breast Cancer Reconstruction at the University of Toronto.
